iForce - Sublime text extension to help salesforce development (windows)


If you are using IDE or Eclipse as your primary IDE, chances are you have everything you need.



Set your environmet variable - JAVA_HOME

Add your ant/bin to - PATH variable

Download Migration Tool from salesforce

Create an empty directory/folder

Open the folder in sublime text. (Note: It is currently having issue if you have sublime opened with multiple folders)

Create new project using iForce

Update your credentials in file (it is replaced with in newer version)

Refresh/Fetch files from salesforce

You should see files downloaded from server

Quick compile - Deploy/update changes to salesforce

You can see the new file in your salesforce org.
